Description
Surah Al-Falaq is a prayer for refuge — a turning to the Lord of daybreak for protection from the harms of the created world. On the wall it carries that steadiness quietly.
Arabic:
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Transliteration:
Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbil-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharrin-naffāthāti fil-ʿuqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.
Translation:
Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of the darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.”

Care
Dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged exposure to moisture. For mirrored or reflective surfaces, use a suitable non-abrasive glass cloth and apply cleaner to the cloth rather than directly to the artwork.
