Description
Ayat ul-Kursi, the Throne Verse, is among the most treasured passages of the Qur’an — a sustained meditation on the reach of divine knowledge and care.
Transliteration:
Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa, Al-Ḥayyul-Qayyūm. Lā ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm. Lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ. Man dhalladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi-idhnih.
Translation:
Allah—there is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
The Monochrome Collection works without contrast. Frame, gallery panel and dimensional calligraphy are finished in one continuous tone. Script rises from the panel in 3D wood, so the words are read as much by shadow as by surface. Cross the room and the light travels along each curve, letting the calligraphy deepen and recede. Calligraphy read as sculpture — calm, architectural, and unmistakably contemporary.
Sizes: 36" x 24", 54" x 36", 72" x 46" or custom size

Custom work is made to order. Natural variations and the handcrafted finishing process make every piece subtly individual.
Care
Dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged exposure to moisture. For mirrored or reflective surfaces, use a suitable non-abrasive glass cloth and apply cleaner to the cloth rather than directly to the artwork.
Craftsmanship
Each piece is handcrafted from laser-cut wood and painted by hand. Subtle variations in texture and finish are part of the handmade character of the artwork. Color may also appear slightly different then the photographs depending on lighting and screen settings. Please expect the character of a handmade piece rather than the perfectly uniform finish of a machine-made product.
